VPNs, proxies, Tor, and datacenter connections are privacy or networking tools that can hide or change the apparent source of traffic. They can be useful in some contexts, but they are often not accepted for app offer campaigns. Offer pages may block this traffic because advertisers need real users in the correct country and on the correct device.
Many campaigns are paid based on valid user actions. If traffic is routed through shared servers, automated systems, or hidden locations, the partner may not be able to verify that the user matches the campaign requirement. Blocking high-risk traffic reduces fraud, duplicate activity, and invalid conversions.
Tor traffic is designed to hide identity and location. Datacenter traffic often comes from servers rather than normal residential or mobile networks. Both can look risky to partner systems. Even if a real person is using them, the campaign may still block the click because the traffic does not match advertiser requirements.
A proxy or VPN can make the user appear to be in a different country. However, partners may compare the IP country with timezone, device language, app-store country, SIM signals, browser data, or previous activity. If signals do not match, the click may be blocked or the action may be rejected later.
If an offer is available in your real country and device, use a normal connection and a real device. Do not use VPN or proxy tools to bypass restrictions. If you need a VPN for privacy, understand that some offers may not work while it is active. Choosing a compatible offer is better than trying to force access to an incompatible one.
